Catholic Pilgrimage to Fatima

Day 1: Lisbon & Fatima
Arrive in Lisbon and enjoy a brief panoramic tour of the charming Portuguese capital. See the beautiful Belem Tower, the Jeronimos Monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Monument to the discoveries, and the Basilica of St. Anthony. Continue to Fatima with a stop in Santarem to take in the Miracle of the Bleeding Host.

Day 2: Shrine of Lady Fatima & Capelinha
Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, starting at the pristine Basilica with the tombs of Jacinta, Francisco and Sr. Lucia. Continue to the Capelinha, where Our Lady appeared to the shepherd children. Light a candle near the shrine, walk the lovely grounds or shop for religious artifacts nearby.
Overnight: Fatima
Day 3: Fatima: Aljustrel & Valinhos
This morning discover the hamlet of Aljustrel, the shepherd children's home. Continue to Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared after the children's release from prison. Visit the church where they were baptized and the local cemetery. Afternoon visit to the Stations of the Cross.

Day 4: Fatima: Day of Personal Devotion
Free day for personal devotion: either inside Domus Pacis Chapel or on the grounds of the Shrine of Lady Fatima.

Day 5: Back home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. |
